the domain name

Here is how this domain name came.

 I go to the beach for many reasons. I go to see the little kids playing. I see an  innocence and trust and wonders. But I also often go to the beach to see the sunrise. There are no kids there then. Just me and sand and water and wind( and today snow) and a sun rising and a perfect sky then can never be  perfect in that way again .I love the ribbon of rouge painted on the horizon and later on the clouds I love a world bathed in  pale yellow of the early  morning sunlight. I love the shadows of shells on the beach.

I also go to the beach at sunrise for  beauty that can not be seen or touched or smelt. A beauty that is always there but only shines when i find my inner joy.

The sunrise is MY time. For answers to questions I did not know I had.  The answers are woven into the  veil of my inner dialogue but they are not mine. I can discern that they are different .They do not trigger stories because they are not a part of any stories. They do not push agendas because they do not have agendas. The answers are gentle offerings  of understanding   waiting for my acceptance.

So, for me, sometimes answers  come when I am at the  beach,
 and so i created the domain name lessonsfrombeach.

A Christmas message 2021

On Veteran's day  I felt the need to stop in a small boutique store.  While there a man  who works for Waste management entered. He  had just emptying the dumpsters outside. I said unto him, "It is veteran's day let me buy you a coffee?" "I can not take it. He replied. "For I am not a veteran." "But you know a veteran ,or have family that are Veterans?" "Yes my brother is a veteran." he replied. " So accept it  in your brothers name," And turn to pay for the man's coffee and the chocolate chip pumpkin bread.
